MAGNALONGA – 1° Maggio 2013 – Appunti di viaggio

Vi presentiamo un breve resoconto di tutte le tappe più significative della Magnalonga 2013!

We present a brief guide to all the most significant stages of Magnalonga 2013!

Alla partenza, al campo sportivo di Ronta, sono stati distribuiti i bicchieri per la degustazione, l’acqua e il latte per la colazione! I partecipanti erano più di 600 e di tutte le età, davvero una gran partecipazione da tutta la Toscana e l’Emilia Romagna.

At the start, at the sports ground of Ronta, were distributed the glasses for tasting, water and milk for breakfast! The participants were more than 600 and of all ages, really a great participation from all over Tuscany and Emilia Romagna.

Si procede tutti insieme superando un ruscello e passando accanto ad un insieme di arnie lungo le quali ci è stato consigliato di procedere a passo spedito!

We goes all together across a little river and passing a set of beehives along which we were advised to proceed at a brisk pace!

Arrivati al primo punto ristoro ci sono stati offerti schiacciata, pane e olio, ricotta fresca e pecorino col miele, il tutto accompagnato da del buon vino bianco.
At the first refreshment point we were offered focaccias, bread and olive oil, fresh ricotta and pecorino cheese with honey, accompanied by a good white wine.

Il cammino è diventato quindi più impegnativo, con alcuni tratti piuttosto ripidi.

The path has therefore become more challenging, with some rather steep stretches.

Nel bosco abbiamo potuto riconoscere alcuni esemplari di viola a mammola, la cui fragranza è l’aroma caratteristico del Sangiovese!

In the forest we can recognize some specimens of purple violets, whose fragrance is the aroma characteristic of Sangiovese!

Giunti al secondo punto di ristoro siamo stati rinfrancati da uno spuntino a base di panino con capocollo e pecorino con le fave e, come nota dolce, da dall’ottimo pane vino e zucchero. 
At the second rest stop we were heartened by a sandwich with capocollo ham and cheese with broad beans and, as cake, fresh bread with red wine and sugar.
Uno degli organizzatori ci ha inoltre timbrato il tesserino di percorso, a testimonianza del tragitto fatto!
One of the organizers has also stamped the card path, confirming the trip done!

Dopo la breve sosta il gruppo è ripartito verso il terzo ed ultimo punto di ristoro attraverso un piacevole cammino nel bosco.

After a short break the group is broken down to the third and final resting spot through a pleasant walk in the woods.

All’ultima sosta prima dell’arrivo abbiamo concluso gli assaggi con pane e schiacciata con finocchiona e salame e una mela per pulirsi la bocca, il tutto sorseggiando del vino rosso.
At the last stop before arrival, we concluded the tasting with bread and focaccia with finocchiona and salami and an apple to wipe the mouth, all sipping red wine.

Nell’ultimo tratto della passeggiata abbiamo potuto ammirare un bellissimo prato fiorito, un laghetto con le ninfee ed un ruscello con due piccole cascate.
In the last part of the walk we could see a beautiful flowery meadow, a pond with water lilies and a stream with two small waterfalls.

Giunti al termine della passeggiata ci attendeva il gran finale con il vino del Consorzio Chianti Rufina ed un ricco pranzo a base di penne al cinghiale e arista con cipolle e prugne in agrodolce!
Having reached the end of the walk, we were waited by the great finish with the wine of the Consorzio Chianti Rufina and a rich lunch of penne pasta with wild boar and pork with onions and plum in a sweet and sour sauce!

Una bella iniziativa per festeggiare il 1° Maggio alla quale speriamo di poter far parte anche nei prossimi anni sia come sponsor che come partecipanti!

A good initiative to celebrate the 1st of May at which we hope to be a part in the coming years both as a sponsor that as participants!
